The South Bend Cubs are continuing a meaningful tradition, honoring active-duty service members and veterans during Military Appreciation Weekend at Four Winds Field.

It’s happening May 30 and 31 as South Bend faces the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Active military and veterans can receive two free tickets, courtesy of Legacy Heating & Air, by showing a military ID at the box office.

Saturday’s game begins at 7:05 p.m. with a pregame ceremony honoring Gold Star families and a postgame fireworks show.

Sunday’s 2:05 p.m. finale will feature military displays, player autographs and a special bobblehead giveaway for fans.
