The Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting its nationwide Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25.

The effort aims to prevent drug abuse and theft by offering safe disposal of unused medications.

Collection sites will accept pills, liquids, vaping cartridges, and pens without batteries. Needles will not be accepted.

The service is free and anonymous.

The Indiana State Police will partner with the DEA, accepting drop-offs at all posts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 25.
