A woman was arrested early Sunday after driving more than three times the legal alcohol limit, striking a patrol car, and narrowly missing a police officer.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. when a Culver officer pulled a driver over on State Road 10 near Thorn Road.
While the officer was standing outside speaking with the driver, another vehicle hit the rear driver’s side of the patrol car, which had its emergency lights on.
After hitting the patrol vehicle, the driver kept going and narrowly missed the officer. The entire incident was recorded on camera.
