Clerical workers at NIPSCO have ratified a new contract agreement, ending a monthlong lockout.
The workers will return to work next week after reaching an agreement with the company. NIPSCO, a public service company in Northern Indiana, locked out over 1,600 workers on April 2 due to a contract stalemate.
The new labor agreement includes improved safety standards, wage increases, and enhanced benefits for the workers.
