Kids in Elkhart will have a chance to learn bicycle safety while having some summer fun next month.

The Elkhart Noon Kiwanis Club and the Elkhart County Health Department will host a free Bike Safety Rodeo for students in grades kindergarten through sixth on Sunday, June seventh, from noon until four at the Tolson Center on Benham Avenue.

Children will ride through an interactive safety course and learn hand signals, traffic signs and helmet safety.

Free giveaways and helmets will be available, along with drawings for two new bicycles. Families are encouraged to pre-register through the Kiwanis Club of Elkhart Facebook page.
