Four people from St. Joseph County have been arrested, and police are searching for a fifth suspect in connection with an attempted killing and robbery in Syracuse.

Investigators say it was back in January when the victim had just ordered DoorDash and several masked people came to his home.

When he answered the door, one of the suspects grabbed him and fired two shots.

The victim wasn’t hit.

Police say surveillance video and group text messages show the group planned to force their way into the home and steal money from the victim.
