The Indiana Department of Homeland Security’s Office of School Safety has officially completed comprehensive security reviews across all 92 counties.
Governor Mike Braun announced that safety officials spent the past year conducting on-site walkthroughs, auditing emergency plans, and inspecting school infrastructure to ensure state compliance.
The state also committed additional funding through the Secured School Safety Grant program to help local districts invest in new security equipment, advanced technology, and school resource officers.
