The City of South Bend has launched its 2026 Neighborhood IGNITE Grant Program, offering neighborhood associations up to $15,000 for projects that improve their communities.

Joint applications from two neighborhoods can receive up to $30,000 for collaborative efforts.

Last year’s grants funded neighborhood signs, park improvements, tree planting, a covered bus shelter and other projects.

Applications are open through September 30, with one-on-one project meetings available through July 17.

More information is available on the city’s website.
