An attempted murder suspect led the police on a pursuit in Marshall County.

The Nappanee Police released dashcam footage of the pursuit and arrest that happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 12.

The vehicle was spotted near US 6 and Dogwood Road. Zakery Ripley led officers on a chase that included crashing through construction barricades on State Rd 331 in Bremen.

WSBT reports Ripley attempted to escape on foot but was caught with help from a K-9 officer.

Ripley faces attempted murder charges in Michigan, and now reckless driving and resisting charges in Marshall County.
