An Australian man has been arrested following a child exploitation investigation involving a victim in northern Indiana.
Indiana State Police say the investigation began in June after a report that someone had used an online account in an attempt to exploit a child in Wabash County.
Investigators identified the suspect as 28-year-old Nathaniel Johnston of Australia and worked with Australian authorities to locate him. Johnston was arrested June 24 on multiple child sexual abuse charges. Police also seized several electronic devices that are now being examined.
The investigation remains ongoing.
