An Elkhart County judge has delayed the attempted murder trial of an Elkhart teenager.

The Goshen News says 18-year-old Xzavion Jerraid is charged in connection with a February shooting near Sixth and Jefferson streets in Goshen.

Investigators say surveillance video, cellphone data and the victim identified Jerraid as the suspected shooter.

His jury trial, originally scheduled for August 3, has been moved to December 7, with a status conference November 12.
