Drivers on U.S. 31 in St. Joseph County should expect delays beginning Tuesday.

Lane closures are planned between the U.S. 20/31 interchange and Kern Road while crews install overhead sign structures.

At least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction during the work.

The ramp from Kern Road to northbound U.S. 31 will also have lane restrictions.

Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution in the construction zone.
