The Charles Black Community Center will host its annual Back 2 School Boogie Parade and community celebration on Saturday, August 15.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Washington High School before traveling to the Charles Black Center for a free event featuring school supplies, uniforms, haircuts, food, entertainment, family activities, community resources and giveaways.

Organizers say the event helps students and families start the new school year prepared and confident.
