A Goshen man is facing several charges stemming from a deadly crash in Bristol earlier this year.

Police say 25-year-old Luis Perez Duran was behind the wheel when a vehicle crashed and caught fire near Division and Vistula Streets early March 29th.

Dezirae Lemarr died in the crash.

An autopsy determined she died from burns and smoke inhalation. Court records say a blood test showed Perez Duran had an alcohol level of .113 and also tested positive for THC and cocaine.

Investigators also obtained video and social media records they say showed Perez Duran and Lemarr drinking together before the crash.

Perez Duran faces several charges related to causing death while operating a vehicle while intoxicated or with a controlled substance in his system.
