Indiana’s housing market continued to grow in July, with more homes sold and new listings added statewide.

The Indiana Association of REALTORS reports 8,112 homes closed, up five percent from last year, while the median sale price reached $285,000.

Mortgage rates averaging six-point-five percent slowed new sales slightly, but inventory increased 11 percent, giving buyers more options heading into the late summer market.
