Formal charges have been filed against a 76-year-old Goshen man. 

Larry Peterson faces the charges following a stabbing Monday at his Martin Manor home. Police say a 68-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times and flown to South Bend for emergency surgery.

The Goshen News says Peterson faces three Level Three felony charges, including aggravated battery and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.

He remains jailed without bond. His initial hearing is Tuesday.
