Police in Bloomington are investigating a shooting near the Indiana University campus.

I.U. Police sent out an alert just before 1:30 Sunday morning for a dangerous situation near Kirkwood Avenue and Grant Street.

Officers confirmed a reported shooting about 20 minutes later, saying the suspect drove off.
