A long-vacant Mishawaka building could soon be divided into several spaces for new businesses.
The former USA Skate Center on North Main Street has been closed for about a decade.
Developers are seeking approval to allow as many as seven different businesses to operate inside the building.
Potential tenants could include restaurants, a coffee shop, salons, insurance offices and other businesses.
Developers say they plan to divide the building into smaller spaces of roughly four to five thousand square feet.
The proposal still needs approval from the Board of Zoning Appeals, which is expected to consider the request in October.
