A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Benton Harbor.

Police say Alonzo Woodley faces a murder charge and several weapons-related charges in the death of 21-year-old Demarius Porter.

The shooting happened in February. Officers responding to a report of gunfire found Porter suffering from a gunshot wound on Lavette Street. He later died at a hospital.

Woodley remains jailed in Berrien County without bond.
