Holy Cross College and the University of Notre Dame are starting a new program for military veterans who want to go to college.

Starting next fall, up to five veterans each year can spend their first year at Holy Cross before moving on to Notre Dame.

The students will live on campus, have a meal plan and take part in eligible Notre Dame clubs and programs.

The program gives veterans a smaller college setting while connecting them with Notre Dame.
