An Elkhart man is facing four felony charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Jean Fernandez Caballero, 24, is scheduled to appear in court October sixth.

Investigators say the alleged offenses occurred between October and November of 2024.

According to court documents, the victim told investigators they met Caballero through social media. Investigators say evidence gathered from those accounts allegedly connects Caballero to the case.

Medical evidence was also collected that investigators say allegedly links Caballero to the reported abuse.

Caballero remains accused unless proven guilty in court.
