Riley Children’s Hospital reports higher numbers of child gunshot wounds

Riley Children's Hospital
Riley Children’s Health has treated 37 children for gunshot wounds so far this year, including 26 hurt in violent shootings and 11 in accidental shootings.
The numbers come as Riley launches a new program aimed at helping children and families affected by violence.
The Hospital-Linked Violence Intervention Program will work with children, teens and families after they are treated at Riley.
The goal is to connect them with support and help prevent them from being hurt again.
