A 19-year-old man appeared in court on Wednesday, Oct. 21, in connection with a September shooting on Eddy Street that wounded a 17-year-old girl and a South Bend police officer.

Anthony Taylor surrendered to authorities in connection with the September 19 incident, which happened during a crowded Notre Dame football game.

Taylor faces three charges, including battery by means of a deadly weapon. His next court hearing is scheduled for November 30.
