INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A small Indiana town where a Mega Millions ticket worth an estimated $540 million was sold is buzzing with speculation about who might be the big winner.

The winning ticket for Friday’s drawing was sold at a Speedway station along Interstate 70 in Cambridge City, a town of about 2,000 residents 50 miles east of Indianapolis.

Town Council President Mark McCarty says if the winner is a local, it won’t take long for word to spread about who it is.

Cambridge City Chamber of Commerce President Beth Leisure says she’s “happy for whoever it is,” even if the winner isn’t from the town known for its antique stores.

Robert Williams, who works at the town’s National Road Antique Mall, says customers are excited and “everybody’s wondering who it is.”
