Benton Harbor officials looking for input on future of city

Benton Harbor’s leaders are looking to revitalize the city. They also realize that revitalization starts with the city’s residents, and they’re asking for input.

A series of forums this month hosted by the Benton Harbor Downtown Development Authority will gather input on what residents want to see developed in the city, according to our reporting partners at ABC 57.

More specifically, the city is seeking ideas on how to use its physical space as well as how to market the city and have a vision for the downtown area.

It’s been five years since forums of this kind were held in Benton Harbor. The first forum takes place at the Benton Harbor Library at 6 p.m. Tuesday. You can find a complete list of future dates and more information here.
