Steuben County crash leaves one man dead

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Steuben County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a Monday night crash that left one person dead.

Officers were called shortly after 11:00 p.m. to the single vehicle crash on CR 300 North west of CR 100 East.  Once on the scene, they noticed a car on its roof in the middle of the road.  The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Nicholas Miller of Angola, was found inside the car, according to WOWO.

Police say Miller was driving west on CR 300 N when for an unknown reason he drove off the road.  Miller’s vehicle struck a small tree, causing the car to roll.

Miller was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the crash remains under investigation by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
