Four hundred golf cart batteries stolen from embattled GRC Golf Carts in Elkhart

The news just keeps getting worse for an embattled golf cart company.

Around 400 golf cart batteries have been reported stolen from GRC Golf Carts in Elkhart. Thee theft was reported to police on Tuesday morning, according to the Elkhart Truth.

The robbery is believed to have happened sometime after 5:30 last Wednesday morning. Investigators say there is no evidence of a break-in.

Former GRC co-owner Chad Leiby is due to appear in a New York courtroom next month where he on multiple counts of felony grand larceny for bad business dealings connected to the company.
