Notre Dame football players say sanctions don’t affect them

Three Notre Dame football players are not letting Tuesday’s news of pending sanctions on the football program affect them before Saturday’s finale against USC.

A NCAA panel discovered a former student trainer completed coursework or improperly aided Notre Dame football players. The panel is proposing the Notre Dame football program to vacate its 21 wins in the 2012 and 2013 football seasons, spend a year on probation, and be fined.

The university is planning to appeal.
