There were no injuries after a fire at Indian Springs Apartments in northwest South Bend, but there were some rattled residents.

The fire broke out just before 11 a.m. Saturday at Building 19 in the apartment complex off Portage Ave. just south of the Toll Road, according to WBST.

Four of the units in the building had heavy fire damage while others had water and smoke damage. In total, there’s about $200,000 in damage, according to WSBT.

No one was hurt, but residents in the building will be out of a home for a few days while damage is cleaned up. The Red Cross has sent volunteers to help. The apartment complex requires renters insurance for all of its residents.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
