Thursday deadline looms for Affordable Care Act enrollments

Thursday is the deadline to sign up for health insurance through the federal exchange.

People can still sign up through the end of January, but there will be a one-month lag in coverage.

Congressional Republicans have vowed to repeal the health care law.

But, Regional Health and Human Services Director Kathleen Falk said the uninsured should still sign up because insurers who are part of the federal exchanges have pledges to honor those polices through the end of 2017 — no matter what the government does.

Falk estimates that 10 percent of Americans are still uninsured.

You can enroll for ObamaCare on ObamaCare Fact’s website.
