South Shore Line to bus passengers from South Bend to Michigan City temporarily

It’s cold outside and the South Shore Line is making a bit of a change because of it.

Due to the cold, the South Shore will bus passengers from South Bend to Michigan City through Friday, according to their website.

Passengers will board a bus at the South Shore platform at the South Bend International Airport and then hop on a South Shore train at Carroll Avenue.

Service will be suspended to and from Hudson Lake while the buses run, and you can expect a little time to be added onto the commute as a result.
