Road rage incident results in serious head injuries after fight in Elkhart County

It was a fight that didn’t have to happen at all.

Elkhart County deputies are looking a man who got involved in a road rage incident with Granger man Monday morning, according to a press release.

It happened on Ash Rd. near Old U.S. 20/McKinley Ave. The two vehicles, a pickup and a car, continued down the road for a while before both stopped near the Toll Road overpass.

Both drivers exited their vehicles and got into a fight. A 36-year-old Granger man ended up with serious head injuries resulting in medical treatment as a result.

The driver of the pickup fled the scene and his whereabouts are unknown. Police are looking for information on the driver and the full-sized pickup he was in.
