30 grams of cocaine, and that’s not all police in Elkhart found during a traffic stop.

Police pulled a vehicle over in the area of Prairie Street and Park Avenue earlier this week, according to the Elkhart Truth.

Officers say they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. So, they ordered the occupants out to conduct a search.

They found cocaine in the vehicle, along with marijuana and a rifle, according to investigators.

The driver, 33-year-old Eric Lauderdale of South Bend faces charges of dealing cocaine and other charges. His passenger, 18-year-old Dawan Lauderdale was arrested on a marijuana charge.
