A second shooting investigation within 12 hours is underway in South Bend.

Officers from the South Bend Police Department were called around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, to the 1500 block of Western Avenue in South Bend.

A few minutes later, a person showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There was no immediate word of the circumstances that led to the shooting, or any suspects or arrests.
