There’s a new Walmart opening in Goshen, and that means some new job opportunities.

Construction is winding down at the new Walmart on 4024 Elkhart Road, and the relocated Walmart is looking to fill 85 associate positions at its hiring center inside the new store.

Construction on the new store began in May of last year. The new store will be 151,000 square feet, according to the Elkhart Truth.

Most of the new associates will start working in May this year to help the store prepare for its opening. The positions to be filled are both part-time and full-time positions.

Applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interested applicants may also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com.

The old Walmart on U.S. 33 will be torn down and made into a parking lot.
