A drug raid in Elkhart County has now resulted in a fourth conviction.
On June 5, a joint trial began for co-defendants Enedeo Rodgriguez, Jr and Alejandro Nava Rodriguez. The two faced multiple felony counts including meth dealing and racketeering after being involved in what Elkhart County officials say is the largest drug ring in their history: the Jacquez ring.
Alejandro pleaded guilty to all six counts early on in his trial and will be sentenced in July.
Enedeo, the fourth co-defendant in the bust executed by multiple agencies in November of last year, proceeded to trial and was found guilty after one hour. He faces sentencing on June 29 and faces 36 years.
