Elkhart is adding a new summer concert series, and it starts this coming week.

The Elkhart Truth reports that The Summer Chill Concert Series is coming to the downtown NIBCO Water & Ice Park.

The first scheduled show will be this coming Tuesday, with Sweet Diezel Jenkins. Tuesday, July 11 will feature a performance from Paul Erdman, and another show is set for Tuesday August 8 with an artist to be announced. All shows will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Audience members are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and may bring in food and non-alcoholic beverages. Food and drink vendors will be there, including a beer garden hosted by Iechyd da Brewing Company.

The NIBCO Splash Pad will also be open for all ages. Thanks to NIBCO, the shows will be free.
