Have you ever been so mad at somebody, you stole their well?

That’s what the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department says happened Thursday at 2075 East, 765 South Road in Wolcottville.

The Department says there has been an ongoing property dispute between a former owner of the victim’s property and the suspects in the crime, whose names have not yet been released, and at some point the victim’s well was taken from the property.

The matter is still under investigation, but police say charges are likely to be forwarded to the County Prosecutor’s Office.
