One teenager was injured and another is in trouble with police after being struck by a golf-cart.

It happened just before 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4, in the 50000 block of Ridgeview Lane in a residential area near Bristol.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says a 13-year-old girl was driving the golf cart and one of the passengers pushed a 13-year-old boy off the cart.

The boy was then run over by the golf cart. He suffered abrasions to his knees, back, legs, arms and an ankle injury.

His injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.

The girl behind the wheel was given a warning for unlawful operation of the golf cart.
