One second she’s sitting in a Jeep outside of a hair salon, the next she’s diving for cover from the bullets and glass flying around her.

Police were called to a hair salon near the intersection of East Calvert and Leer Streets at about 1 p.m. Saturday. No one was reported injured and no shooting victims ever showed up to local hospitals.

The person sitting in a Jeep that was hit by about a half-dozen bullets told the South Bend Tribune that she saw two unknown men walk up on foot and begin firing shots at the Jeep and the front door of the hair salon. She says she didn’t recognize the men and didn’t know why they were shooting.
