A Warsaw man was arrested in connection to the stabbing of a Milford man in Syracuse.

24-year-old Jordan Stone faces a preliminary charge of battery with a deadly weapon.

The Syracuse Police Department says the stabbing was the result of a fight at Duffy’s Bar. Though the suspect fled the scene initially on Sunday, officers were able to catch up to him later and take him into custody.

The Times Union reports the victim suffered stab wounds and was transferred from Goshen General Hospital to South Bend Memorial for treatment.
