Police in Elkhart County are looking for a man who tried to abduct an 18-year-old woman Monday.

It happened at about 3:15 p.m. on S.R. 120 east of C.R. 15.

The woman was walking along the road when an older white man with a long white beard pulled up to her in a pickup truck, grabbed her by the arm, and tried to pull her in the vehicle. She pulled away and the man drove off westbound on State Road 120.

Elkhart County officers say the truck is described as a white Dodge pickup truck with Michigan license plates.
