A man from Missouri who crashed on the U.S. 20 bypass Wednesday night ended up in jail.

60-year-old James Bradway was driving a pickup truck towing a trailer on the eastbound bypass east of Beech Road at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. The truck went off the road and was stuck in the north-side ditch.

When a state trooper arrived, he discovered the engine still revving and discovered Bradway in the driver’s seat allegedly showing signs of intoxication.

Indiana State Police say a K-9 confirmed the presence of drugs and the officer reportedly found a container that had a little over 10 grams of methamphetamine inside it.

Bradway, who hails from a town near Republic, Missouri, was arrested on meth and operating while intoxicated charges.
