Boil water advisory issued for portion of Elkhart

A boil water advisory has been issued temporarily for some residents in Elkhart.

The City of Elkhart Public Works and Utilities has issued the advisory for residents along Superior Street, from Alfred to Bank Street as well as Crescent Street to Jackson.

If you are affected by this boil order, you should have a tag on your door from the city. When the order is lifted, you’ll receive another tag letting you know it’s safe to drink.

The temporary boil water advisory is expected to last through Friday.
