Household Hazardous Waste Day in Elkhart County set for Saturday

This Saturday, March 3, marks another Household Hazarrdous Waste Day in Elkhart County.

Household hazardous waste may be dropped off at the Elkhart County Correctional Facility, free of charge, which is located near intersection of CR26 and CR7.

Acceptable materials include flammable liquids, motor oil, gasoline, pesticides, household cleaners, aerosol cans, medications, sharps, florescent bulbs. Material should be in original labeled containers, if possible, and no containers larger than 40 lbs. or 5 gallons will be accepted.
