Flood victims in Goshen can now apply to get some much-needed financial help.

The city of Goshen is taking applications for its 2018 Flood Restoration Grant Program.

There are two types of grants available: one for repairs and the other for reimbursement of already-completed or paid-for work. There’s a limit of $2,500 per applicant no matter which grant you apply for.

To qualify, the property must be owner-occupied, be located in the city of Goshen’s incorporated boundaries, and have been damaged during the 2018 flooding. A floodplain administrator must also approve if the property is in a floodplain.

The deadline to apply is July 1st.

To donate, click HERE and click on the donate button, or make a check to the Goshen 2018 Flood Recovery Fund and mail or drop it off at Goshen City Hall, 202 S. 5th St., or any Interra Credit Union Branch.
