An Indiana man wanted on larceny warrants leads police on a two-state chase.

The chase started in Indiana, but temporarily stopped after 44-year-old Anthony Blatz crossed the state line into Michigan. Michigan officers spotted the vehicle, Blatz and his wife reportedly continued the chase into Cass and Van Buren Counties, eventually stopping in the Paw Paw area.

Michigan State Police say the couple then reportedly fled on foot, met up with two others they knew from Indiana, and continued fleeing in a second vehicle. Officers found the vehicle and pulled it over.

And then, as the driver pulled over, police say one of the suspects pushed the driver out of the car, got behind the wheel, and drove off. That vehicle crashed north of Gobles along M-40, and Blatz and his wife were arrested.

Additional charges are pending.
