A traffic stop took a turn after drugs and a gun were found on the Indiana Toll Road in LaGrange County.

Indiana State Police pulled over a Jeep Liberty about four miles west of the LaGrange exit in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

The trooper smelled marijuana when talking to the driver, 39-year-old Madesta Crary of Orlando, Florida. The driver then gave the trooper a license that wasn’t hers.

A vehicle search found her actual license, a loaded handgun, drug paraphernalia, and approximately 54 grams of marijuana. She’s now at the LaGrange County Jail facing a slew of charges for the confiscated drugs, gun, and false informing.

Holy crap, is that a fully semi-automatic revolver? And that looks like at LEAST 5 marihuanas! Glad that dangerous stuff is off the streets! I hope this criminal gets a life sentence!
