Two people from Niles were seriously hurt when their dirt bike hit a deer.

It happened Friday night at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Wells Street and Reynolds Road. Cass County deputies say the riders, a 29-year-old woman and 36-year-old man, were not wearing helmets in the crash.
