An 11-month-old baby is recovering after being shot in the leg.
It happened around 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at Cedar Glen Apartments in the 400 block of S. 25th Street in South Bend.
Police confirmed to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57 that the shooting was accidental.
An apartment manager told ABC 57 the shooting happened when a neighbor was cleaning a firearm and it accidentally discharged.
The baby received just a graze wound and will be okay.
